He has received international training from Kerastase and has worked with some of the top names in the entertainment industry.

Curtis is especially skilled in all aspects of colour and highlighting. He is highly requested among new and returning clients for his Vertical Micro-highlighting and fashion-forward colours.

Curtis also offers super straightening with the Japanese Ionic Straightening, thermal haircuts and elegant up-styles.

Bonnie

Senior Stylist/Make-up Artist

If you’re looking for the best blonde highlights, you’ll find them with Bonnie! She specializes in all types of colour and highlights, from gorgeous natural highlights, to beachy Baliage, to cutting edge colours.

Bonnie has trained and worked alongside world renowned stylists/colourists such as Daniel Benoit, George Garcia and Sam Villa, giving her an advanced understanding of colour and cutting trends and techniques. She has worked in the entertainment and print industry.  Her passion for styling glamorous fashion photo shoots, continues with her work in editorial photo shoots.

Bonnie is our in-house weave extension specialist and is the stylist to see if you are looking to add length and volume to your hair.

A talented Make-up Artist, Bonnie enhances her clients’ natural beauty for special occasions. Her expertise allows her to create beautiful, flawless looks for editorial photoshoots, special event make-up, and theatrical or Halloween make-up.

Harley has over 6 years of hairstyling experience and her quick advancement from apprenticeship to Senior stylist is proof of her natural ability to exceed her clients' expectations. Harley has earned her Red Seal and Journeyman License in Calgary and now calls Vancouver home.

With her down to earth personality, you will feel at ease sitting in her chair as she exudes confidence and her passion for hair. Harley knows the importance of continuing her education. Her most recent training includes the Davines World Tour 2010 in Berlin, Germany and has competed in Contessa 2010. She specializes in women's long classic cuts or short precision cuts with natural blended highlights. Whether you are looking for a Total Makeover or just beautiful natural highlights, Harley will always accommodate to your lifestyle.

Bringing over 6 years of luxury salon experience from London and Brisbane, Kate is on the cutting edge of hair trends. Her international training and experience brings a unique style to her cutting and colouring techniques.

A skilled colourist, Kate is a master of beautiful natural colours and fashion-forward styles. Being at the forefront of colouring techniques, she is our Baliage and Ombre specialist.

Kate’s passion for fashion and beauty stems from her love of making others feel confident and beautiful. She pays particular attention to ensuring a style suits the personality and lifestyle of her clients.

Leanne

Senior Stylist

Working as a hairstylist for over 6 years in Edmonton and Vancouver, Leanne's technically advanced haircuts and insanely beautiful blow-outs keep her high in demand. Under the direction of her father who was trained by the Vidal Sassoon Academy, Leanne ensures the importance of only creating the best hair styles for her clients with their day to day lifestyle in mind. She loves participating in fashion shows and is always looking for the next trend. Leanne also provides beautiful up styles and color for every occasion.

Van

Owner/Make-Up Artist

Working in the beauty and fashion industry for over a decade and being raised in her mother’s salon, Van has a keen awareness of trends, while keeping an eye on the classics. Van recognizes and actively promotes the importance of healthy hair and skin as a basis for beauty regimes and believes in utilizing only the highest quality of products. She strives to ensure that clients not only look fabulous, but also educated on how to best care for their hair and skin. Seeing the transformation in a client’s confidence in their appearance when they leave the salon is what she most enjoys about working in the beauty industry.

Dedicating much time and effort to hand selecting only the best Senior Level Stylists, Van is able to ensure her and the client’s expectations are consistently exceeded. Van strives for client care perfection and has created a positive and creative environment for both clients and stylists to enjoy. Senior Stylist

With over 9 years of hairstyling experience, Sue is known for her many skills that include cutting, coloring, and digital perms. She specializes in Asian hair and has supported many fashion shows in Korea with her expertise in hair and makeup. For over 5 years in Korea, Sue was trained by Jacques Dessange, a world renowned Haute Coiffure French salon empire. Her sweet personality and her goal for perfection makes her highly requested.

Growing up in Korea where her family owns 8 elite hair salons, and now following her dream to pursue the art of hairdressing, she continues her passion and dedication at Ignite.
